There are two ways that therapists earn money on the Snapclarity platform:
Client monthly subscriptions
Clients pay $39.99 per week/billed monthly for a month subscription. This includes the ability to text their therapist unlimitedly, as well as 60 minutes of video or voice chat time.
Additional video sessions
Clients are able to purchase additional interaction time with their therapist by way of video or voice chats.
Clients purchase this additional time with therapists in 60-minute blocks. Clients can use this 60-minutes in one session or choose to break it up over the month in the form of 10 minute increments. For example, you can book 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 minute sessions with them.
Therapists are free to decide their hourly rate for these sessions, although we recommend a rate between $100 to $120/hour.
How do payouts work?
Therapists are paid via direct deposit on the 15th and the last day of each month. Payouts consist of:
- Revenue for clients' monthly subscription
- Video session time used
What does "video session time used" mean?
Therapists are paid for the amount of minutes used by their clients. If a client chooses to use only 10 out of 60 minutes of purchased video time, therapists will be compensated solely for the time used (10 minutes at their hourly rate).
Is Snapclarity free for therapists?
Snapclarity is currently in its very early stages of release. As a result, an executive decision has been made to keep Snapclarity free for therapists until further notice.
Subscription fees in the future
Snapclarity will not charge a monthly fee until therapists are actually earning money on the platform.
The monthly fee with take a tiered approach, and will be dependent on how much money the therapist makes from client monthly subscriptions and additional video sessions.
We are still in the process of solidifying our monthly fee structure and therapists will be given plenty of "heads up" before its implementation.
