Bad internet connection can lead to low quality video chats or disruption in services. Thus, it is important to make sure you have a stable connection when you use Snapclarity to chat with your therapist or client.
Connection to Internet
If your cell phone plan includes data, you should not have problems with connectivity anywhere you go. However, if your data is not enabled automatically, simply go to Settings > Data usage > Mobile data on your Android phone or Settings > Cellular Data on your iOS device.
If you don't have a cell phone plan that has data, you need to be connected to Wi-Fi to use Snapclarity and get notifications. Go to a place with Wi-Fi and follow these steps, if you're not connected to it already :
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Turn on Wi-Fi. Your device will automatically search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to join.
*Note : Data usage can be expensive, we recommend you use Wi-Fi when you can.
Types of Internet Access
Connection speed is affected by types of Internet Access. Your connection speed first and foremost depends on the the type of Internet connection you have. There are several most ways to connect to the Internet, and some are better than others. Chat with your internet provider to find out what your options are.
External factors affects connection speed
There are some events and conditions affecting your internet connection speed that are outside your control, such as traffic or even, having a virus. However, you can try limiting these external factors. For example, you have less chance to have a virus if you download and install files that are secured.
